Al Ma'rifah Foundation

Al Ma'rifah Foundation is an Islamic Educational Organisation based in Manchester. 

A Pathway to closeness returns this September, now introducing a 3rd year class!

1st Year Course Overview:
A structured 9-month Islamic Studies programme, reliving the Seerah of the Prophet  delivered by Imam Abid, Sheikh Asad, Ustadh Maalek and Ustadh Amin.

Date: The classes take place weekly on Thursdays, starting from the 19th of September 2024.

Time: 1st year students have a 7:45pm start.

Location: All classes take place at Cheadle Masjid, 377 Wilmslow Road, Heald Green, Cheadle, SK8 3NP.

EIIS - European Institute of Islamic Sciences

The European Institute of Islamic Sciences (EIIS) is a local organisation with the aim to implement a Quran-centric curriculum and create Islamic educational provision.

They offer regular Tajweed, Islamic studies and intensive arabic courses and qualifications for all levels. They’re based in Oldham and you can find more details on course start dates, curriculums and instructors by following the links.

Logical Progression

Attend Sh Abu Eesa’s weekly logical progression classes covering aspects of Fiqh every wednesday 8pm at Cheadle Mosque or stream and catch up on previous classes via the online portal (linked below)

OSAIS

OSAIS was established by Professor Sheikh Awadalla Youssef and is based in Old Trafford in Manchester.

The OSAIS syllabus includes the text and methods, based on that of Al-Azhar Institute, Egypt. ‘Ilm Al-Tajweed is the first course that students are encouraged to enrol onto, and is the precondition for access to other subjects. Students registered with a Student Teacher in the Foundation Tajweed Level, will be able to further study of Islamic subjects including Tajweed, ‘Aqeedat, Fiqh, Seerat, Hadeeth, Tafseer Al Qur’aan, Hayaat As Sahaabah (R) and Principles of Research in Islaam to name a few.

Al Furqan College

Alfurqan College is based in Manchester and specialises in Arabic language. It is a leading provider of Arabic language and Islamic studies to students over the age of 16.

Alfurqan College caters to the needs of Muslims in the UK and aims to produce students who are fluent in Arabic by teaching them reading, writing, speaking, and other tools that are necessary to study Arabic, such as nahw (grammar) and sarf (morphology).
